Kudzu vines produce very few seeds. Green seed pods are shown
in the left photo.
When the pods dry most of the seeds have withered away.
Seeds that survive are tiny and very hard, which makes them hard to germinate.
The seedling took 15 days to peek out of the soil, and 6 days to grow to this size.
Hellena, in the right photo, is a Kudzupiller. She is a dried seedpod
with plastic eyes and watches over the Kudzu Kingdom Website.
